He is currently the director of animal medicine program in the College of Animal Science and Medicine of Shenyang Agricultural University and the co-director of Shennong-Hofeng Animal Hospital. He is an expert member of the National Licensed Veterinary Technician Examination proposing group, veterinary medicine evaluation expert of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, evaluation expert of the National Natural Fund, evaluation expert of China Postdoctoral Fund, and evaluation expert of thesis quality of the national professional degree level assessment. He is the executive director of the Veterinary Surgery Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Small Animal Medicine Branch, the executive director of the Veterinary Imaging Branch, the director of the Information Technology Branch, and the senior member of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. He is the executive vice president of the Small Animal Branch of the Liaoning Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Association. He is a member of the Specialist Committee of Chinese Veterinary Imaging, a member of the Specialist Committee of Anesthesia Analgesia and Critical Care of the Small Animal Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and an excellent clinical veterinarian. He is also a member of the "Xingliao Talent Plan" of Liaoning Province, an outstanding teacher of Liaoning Province, a top talent of Shenyang City, a teaching teacher of Shenyang Agricultural University, a leading talent of Tianzhu Mountain of Shenyang Agricultural University, and a member of the expert group for enrollment promotion of the university's high-quality student base.
He has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China, one local project led by the central government, one national key R&D project, one national postdoctoral fund, one project funded by Liaoning Xingliao Program, one foreign training project for higher education institutions of Liaoning Department of Education, one inter-university cooperation project, and participated in more than 10 national and provincial research projects. At present, he has published more than 100 papers in academic journals at home and abroad (more than 50 papers are indexed by SCI and EI). He is the editor-in-chief of Small Animal Surgical Care and First Aid (awarded as Liaoning Province Excellent Natural Science Book Project) and Small Animal Surgical Care Techniques and Concepts; the co-editor of the national key book publishing planning project Veterinary Endoscopy, Equine Anesthesiology; the editor-in-chief of the national planning textbook Animal Medicine Professional Practical Training Course; the co-editor of the national planning textbook Veterinary Surgical Diseases and Care, Pet Clinical First Aid Techniques Veterinary Informatics", etc.; co-editor of national planning textbook "Equine General Pathology", "Internship Guide for Veterinary Specialties in Higher Agricultural Colleges and Universities", "Small Animal Diseases", "Veterinary Surgery and Surgical Surgery", "Veterinary Endoscopy", "Veterinary Surgery", "Veterinary Surgery and Obstetrics", "Economic Animal Diseases", etc.
In 2023, he served as a veterinary drug reviewer for the Ministry of Agriculture.
